Welcome!

This blog is my long-awaited attempt at business management writing. Being a management enthusiast, I feel the urge to write what I think, learn and observe in the field of business management from my daily interaction with the field during office hours or rolling my eyeballs on news, magazines, books or simple observation of people engaged in this field.

I had taken interest in this field since long, during my engineering days at IIT while choosing the discipline of study. After a lot of thought, research and mentoring, I had looked forward to an engineering field which would be a stepping stone to a management study and I ended up choosing Industrial Engineering & Management! The choice couldnt have been better as it introduced me to the world of management science which took me further into the broader array of management areas.

The strong interest in pursuing a career in management led me to study Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in one of the IIMs ( Top B schools in India): IIM Kozhikode with its campus in Kerala, one of the most beautiful states of India. The 2 years MBA-equivalent course introduced me to the fundamentals of business management: Finance & Marketing. With cross-functional implications and the opportunities of insightful discovery, the field of Marketing attracted me more. Coupled with an internship in global foods& beverage major Pepsico boosted up the interest in this field along with the fields of Supply Chain & IT!

This blog will be used to do a deep-dive into the relationship with business management and my reflective analysis on the evolution of the relation with this exciting field. I will also bring numerous subjects, topics in the field of marketing, supply chain and other general management field for analytical discussion and writing.

Business journalism & writing is insightful not only for the readers but for the authors as well. A research-oriented writing is discovery-led journey, which supercedes the satisfaction of reaching a destiny with its amazingly thrilling experience! So it's better not to stop, but keep discovering new insights into the field of business management every day!

Plz keep posting feedback. I can be contacted through my mail meetjoyjeet@gmail.com
